Procedure Description

The most commonly broken bones in the human body are the nasal bones. Damage to the nasal bones can result from childhood injuries. It has been estimated that as many as as 40 % of people with nasal deformities may have occurred as a result of a birth trauma. Childhood nasal injuries manifest themselves later in life as a bump on the nose, difficulty breathing , and the appearance of the nose being crooked or twisted. A partial obstruction of the nasal airways can lead to a multitude of medical problems. Along with this , many of us are very sensitive about our appearance , and a deformed nose can mar an otherwise beautiful face.

Surgery can correct these problems, and can also create a more refined and pleasing size and shape for the tip of the nose. Fixing a nasal deformity can have a dramatic positive impact on health, appearance and self confidence. The surgery is safe, minimally uncomfortable and is done as an outpatient.

A nose job or rhinoplasty is safe and common procedure that safely alters the appearance of a patients nose, whether it’s through the removal of bumps from breakage, deviated septum or to remedy any dissatisfaction with the nose shape or appearance. This surgery can be completed in anywhere from two to three hours and is performed under local and or general a anesthesia . The post operation comfort is minimal and can have amazing impact on self confidence. The recovery period is seven to ten days.
